The Seamaster De Ville is Omega's classic dress watch, which lies flat against the wrist with a timeless design. This version of the vintage watch features the so-called "linen dial", which, with its intersecting diagonal lines, has a very special and exclusive look. Because fewer of this version were produced, and unfortunately are often in poor condition, linen dials are sought after by collectors.
 
The example here is in terrific condition, and the dial is almost as it was when it left the factory. The movement is automatic winding, which means that the movement of the arm winds up the watch. The watch has been newly serviced.
